The New York State Talking Book and Braille Library (TBBL) is a free library service for eligible residents of upstate New York who are unable to use standard print materials due to a visual, physical or reading disability. Laurenne Teachout, Senior Librarian for Outreach at TBBL will lead the tour followed by a discussion of the resources available through TBBL and how libraries of all types can promote TBBL to their community. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers. 

There will be an optional social at City Beer Hall, 43 Howard Street, Albany after the event. People are welcome to join the social if they can’t make the tour.
