MICAELA BLEI, PH.D., is an award-winning storyteller, educator and story editor based in Portland, Maine. A two-time Moth GrandSLAM winner and the former founding Director of Education at The Moth, Micaela helps creative people tell better stories through workshops, coaching, and her podcast "The Story Letter." Her stories have been featured on This American Life, The Moth Radio Hour, and more. Her Audible Original memoir “You Will Not Recognize Your Life” was released in 2024. With 25 years of teaching experience and a doctorate in narrative education from NYU, Micaela brings joy, caring, and rigor to storytelling in every context.
