FLS to Host In-Person Friends Group Meet-up

Join us for the NYLA Friends of Libraries Section Regional Friends Group Meet-up at the Beekman Library in Hopewell Junction on Thursday, August 15 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm. This event is open at no charge to both FLS/NYLA members and non-members. However, advanced registration is required. To register please visit, https://bit.ly/3VWB3aS and complete one form for each attendee. Registration closes on Thursday, August 8th at 4:00 pm.

This is a great opportunity for Friends from your library to meet with other Friends from around the state, exchange ideas, and make new contacts. When completing your registration, you'll have the opportunity to drive the topics for discussion including:

* New fundraising ideas (excluding book sales)
* Book Sales
* Membership, Recruitment, and Retention
* Outreach (Newsletters, Tabling, Social Media)
* A topic of interest for your group

FLS Connections! 

FLS Connections! is an online conversation offered via Zoom. Each session has a specific topic and invited speakers share informally, followed by open mics where everyone can participate and provide their own groups’ experiences and ideas. These sessions run 75 minutes. They are not archived, but presentation minutes and resources are distributed after these events. Registration is required in order to receive the Zoom link and subsequent follow-up materials.

There are no FLS Connections! scheduled at this time, but check back in the fall for event announcements.
