NYLA Governance CommitteeChargeThe Committee shall regularly review the Association by-laws, as well as all policies of the Association for compliance with applicable federal and state statutes, state regulations, and best practices; develop new policies as appropriate; and submit recommended policies and policy revisions to Council for approval. The Committee shall develop and regularly review the strategic plan for the Association and make recommendations to the Council for approval. CompositionThe Governance Committee shall consist of the NYLA President and the President of each Section of NYLA. The President shall serve as Chair of the Committee.
