- Approved the creation of a Balanced Budget Task Force to review and evaluate existing NYLA revenue streams, potential areas of increased and/or new revenue, fund balances, and the current service program with the goal of establishing a sustainable financial model NYLA’s future.

- Approved the requested transfer of administration of the Sustainable Libraries Initiative to the Suffolk Cooperative Library System

- Approved the three-year renewal of the affiliation between the Empire State Center for the Book, and the National Center for the Book through the Library of Congress.
- Charged the Audit Committee to review proposals and make a recommendation to Council for a new auditing firm by the August meeting
