Disaster Relief Fund Update

NYLA established the Disaster Relief fund to provide financial support to New York libraries desotryed by natural or  manmade disasters such as flooding, hurricanes, or fire.  After Superstorm Sandy last fall, the library community's outpouring of support for the effected libraries was unprecedented.  NYLA's Disaster Relief Fund raised $14,000 to be distributed amongst the effected libraries.

We've also been fortunate enough to be selected by the St. James Church in New York to be the recipient of funds raised at their 6th City-Wide Episcopal Young Adult Trivia Night Fundraiser on April 27th.  Interested in attending?  $25 includes dinner, games, and prizes.
