Great Reads About Great Places

Each year the Library of Congress’ Center for the Book asks each state to submit a title to be included in the "Great Reads About Great Places" reading list. The list is then included on the Discover Great Places Through Reading Map that is distributed in the Pavilion of the States at the National Book Festival.

The Empire State Center for the Book, the New York State affiliate of the national Center for the Book is proud to provide the list of these good read for children or teens selected since 2002.

Suggest a book that features New York or is by a New York author/illustrator to be considered by the Empire State Center for the Book for the 2013 list.  Suggestions may be sent to rocco.staino@gmail.com by March 15th.
