New York Library Association. - The eBulletin

From the Archives!

The NYLA archives at the State Library is a great way to look at New York libraries past.  This month the Bulletin feature a photo of the adult room from the first annual report of the Rochester Public Library.  Interestingly, their first annual report was for the year 1912, was released exactly 100 years ago.   The Exposition Park Branch, the "first branch" of Rochester Public Library.  It was in Building #9 at Exposition Park, formerly a boys' dorm in the old state reform school there.

Thank you Mary Redmond and the folks at the State Library for your help in bring the past to NYLA members.
