NYLA Web Policies

Data Quality and Accuracy

The New York Library Association is dedicated to ensuring that all data it disseminates reflect high levels of quality, accuracy, and timeliness. NYLA makes every effort to ensure that the information on this website meets these standards and is in accord with the mission of the organization.

Much of the content posted on the NYLA website has been provided by NYLA units. Each unit is responsible for the content of its own Internet presence. While NYLA does not screen the information posted, NYLA does reserve the right to remove any information that is either not in accordance with the NYLA mission, inaccurate, or outdated.

There may be inadvertent errors in the content or out-of-date material. NYLA will periodically review content on the NYLA server in an attempt to ensure that the information posted is current, or to correct errors in content brought to the webmaster's attention. NYLA Council is the final arbiter of what appears on, or is removed from, the NYLA web site.
