Spectrum Wireless Router Grants

The New York Library Association (NYLA) is administering an equipment grant program to distribute wireless routers to libraries in need of equipment. NYLA seeks to identify twenty-five libraries across the state in need of hardware (or upgrades) to better share their connectivity with their patrons via wireless routers.  Priority will be given to libraries that are users of Spectrum internet services, thought it is not a requirement for eligibilty.

This projected is funded by the Spectrum NYS Broadband Access and Learning Grant.

The equipment is Cisco Meraki wireless routers, and will include a five year subscription to the required cloud license.
Ongoing support in year six and beyond will become the responsibility of the recipient library.
