ASLS Excellence in Library Innovation Award

This award recognizes the achievements of an ASLS member who is creative, innovative, and visionary in the field of academic or special librarianship. Attendance at the NYLA conference is required for acceptance of the award and plaque.

 

Financial Support:  Up to $1,000 reimbursement to support conference registration and travel expenses.

 

Who May Apply: Active ASLS members. Current ASLS board members cannot self-nominate.

 

To apply yourself or to nominate a colleague:

 

•Provide a statement describing your/ the nominee’s achievements.

•Provide a statement describing why you are applying/nominating this person.

•Provide a brief biography of the yourself/nominee.

 

The winner is announced at the ASLS Membership Meeting at the NYLA Annual Conference.


The application deadline for this award is September 15, 2017.
