Webinar: Turning the Page – ADHD and Employee Policies August 12 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm EDT
This presentation will share the findings from a pilot study that looked into the workplace experiences of library employees with ADHD and how (or if) public library policymakers take these experiences into account when making internal policies. Five public library employees were interviewed about their workplace experiences, then policymakers were surveyed based on the issues raised in those interviews. The goal is to offer insights into strategies that can make library environments more inclusive and supportive for employees with ADHD. Real stories from those with ADHD will be shared and used to provide practical tips for policymakers and leaders on how to improve inclusivity in their libraries. Learning Objectives:
