How to direct unemployment overpayments back to your nonprofit before it's too late.

Historically, employer unemployment costs increase for years following periods of high claim levels, regardless of whether an employer experienced claims or not. Attend this webinar to learn how working with First Nonprofit can eliminate these increases:

  • The taxable wage base is going to increase from $12,000 to $12,300 in 2023 and will continue to increase through 2026.
  • Effective July 2022, an Interest Assessment Surcharge (IAS) of .23% in addition to your current rate was instituted to cover the cost of COVID claim. This works out to an additional $27.60 per employee due September 30, 2022.

This webinar will be presented by First Nonprofit (FNP), NYLA's endorsed unemployment services partner. FNP's New York customers have saved nearly $15 million in state unemployment taxes since 2003. Additionally, FNP's New York-based claims administrator has helped remove over $204 million of claim liability from FNP customers over the last two years alone.
