Communication Services and NYLA have partnered to create The Stronger Libraries Partnership in order to provide winning campaign/advocacy services to NYLA organizational members. The Partnership provides:

  • Campaign Strategies, Message Development and Management for libraries on budget, bond and district votes including the use of the web and social media

  • Online Advocacy to Local Elected Officials

  • Phone Banking for Library Votes

  • Assistance with introduction and passage of library district legislation

By creating The Stronger Libraries Partnership, Communication Services and NYLA together can help libraries strengthen their position in their communities to stabilize their funding. Communication Services has a proven track record (winning 84% of the time) of helping libraries throughout New York pass voter initiatives.  NYLA has become a respected advocate from libraries throughout the state with the right relationships in the right places.

In addition, The Stronger Libraries Partnership can help libraries strengthen their fund raising potential through direct mail, annual campaigns, capital campaigns and other development efforts.
