Statement of Purpose
The purpose of the Marketing & Public Relations Round Table (MPRRT) is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas on a variety of marketing and public relations topics. Our Round Table will work to:
- Develop a virtual community of library staff who are involved public relations, promotion, content creation, design, branding, web design, social media, communications and outreach.
- Explore evolving marketing and communications trends; share tips, best practices and resources.
- To present and sponsor programs at the NYLA Annual Conference that reflect the needs of the Round Table membership and that demonstrate the value of library marketing efforts.
- Provide continuing education opportunities related to marketing and public relations throughout the year and at the NYLA Annual Conference.
All are welcome to join MPRRT. Membership dues are only $10 in addition to the regular New York Library Association (NYLA) dues. For information about becoming a member of NYLA, visit the NYLA Membership page.
