New York Council of Nonprofts

The New York Library Association (NYLA) and the New York Council of Nonprofits, Inc. (NYCON) are pleased to announce a discounted membership program for 2018.

“NYCON and NYLA have worked together in different ways for many years,” said Valerie Venezia, NYCON’s VP of Membership and Marketing, “This partnership is a win all around. Many libraries were purchasing membership in NYLA and NYCON. We wanted to make it easier – and more affordable – to access the services both associations provide to nonprofit libraries in New York State. We are excited to have this opportunity to support the NYLA members with the services and resources they need.”

What is NYCON?

NYCON provides a collective policy voice for the nonprofit sector and serves as a crucial support and information provider.
With over 3,000 members, they work to build the capacity of nonprofits and communities to enhance the quality of life through responsive, cost-effective service and by forming a long term, multi-layered service relationship with their member nonprofits.
