Book Festivals

In 2010 and 2011, the Center for the Book and the New York Library Association sponsored the Empire State Book Festival, held at the Empire Plaza in Albany, NY. The featured speaker at the 2010 Festival was Albany's own Greg Maguire, author of Wicked and other fractured fairy tales. In 2011 the Festival featured Rosanne Cash, singer, songwriter, and author and Ann M. Martin, author of the Babysitters' Club series.
