Welcome to the Membership section of the NYLA website. I hope I can help convince you to join, if you have not already made that decision. Becoming a NYLA member is beneficial in many ways to you and the library community. You are able to get discounts to continuing education, and on buying electricity, insurance and consultants on a number of topics.

The library community benefits from each new or renewing member by joining together to tell our story with a unified voice. Through our legislative activities we are able to convince those in power the impact our community has on their constituents each day. The more people in our organization only adds to the power of our arguments.
