In-Person & Virtual Conference Registration Rates & Package Plans

Any in-person conference registration includes a complimentary registration for the virtual conference.

The Package Plan saves you money by bundling tickets to all the special events into one discounted rate.

Conference Registration Deadlines

Registration OPENS: August 1st, 2021

Early Bird Deadline: October 8th, 2021

Advanced Deadline/Last Day to Register: October 15th, 2021


BUNDLED REGISTRATIONS

Organizations that register five or more individuals to attend the conference are eligible to receive one free registration for each five registrations submitted. (Register five, get a sixth person free.)  The free registration applies to registration fees only, and is not applicable to special events (package plan registration is eligible).  In order to qualify for the bundled registration discount, the organization must be an organizational member of NYLA, and all registrations must be paid by a single organizational payment (check or credit card).  On each individual order that is part of the bundle, please denote in the notes field of the form that the registration is part of a bundle, and that the organization is the ‘bill to’ entity. Individual members of a bundled registration need not be NYLA members, and each will be billed at the approriate member/non-member rate.  The deadline for submitting a Registration Bundle is September 30, 2021. Registration bundles will be reviewed after the September 30 deadline has passed, and a complete revised and adjusted invoice will be issued to the organization for payment.  Free registration will be applied to the lowest cost registration in the bundle.  Registration bundle payments (or purchase orders) are due within 30 days of receipt of the invoice.

REGISTRATION POLICIES

Early-bird rates apply to all registrations submitted online by October 8, 2021.  Payment must be received within 30 days of receipt of the registration submission, if not the registrant will be charged the prevailing rate (i.e. Advanced or Late).  Please note that the registration fees increase after October 8th, 2021, and October 15, 2021.  Registrations submitted after October 15, 2021, will be charged the late registration rate.

NYLA members (including Individual, Organizational-Associate, and Support Staff members) are eligible for discounted member rates. Organizational members are permitted to send all associate members at the discounted NYLA member rate.  Special discounted rates are available to NYLA members of the Retired, Trustee, Student, and Friend member types.  Registrations can be transferred to another attendee if the request for transfer is received by October 15, 2021.

REFUNDS
Written requests for registration refunds must be submitted by October 15, 2021. An administrative processing fee of $25 will be deducted from the amount refunded. NYLA will honor requests for refunds that are received by the stated deadline and will retain only an administrative fee from them.  Refunds will not be offered for discounted registrations (Student, Friend, Trustee, Retiree rates).

After the October 15, 2021 deadline has passed, no refunds will be issued.

Instead, the registration amount, less a $25 administrative-processing fee, will be issued as a credit voucher toward NYLA events within the next calendar year only. No credit or refund will be issued for unused funds. If the recipient fails to redeem the voucher within a calendar year, no refund will be made, and no further credit given. The credit voucher IS transferable. Refunds will be processed as promptly as possible after the close of the Conference. Credit vouchers will not be offered for discounted registrations (Student, Friend, Trustee, Retiree rates). In fairness to all attendees, registrants who do not attend the Conference, and do not submit a notification of cancellation by 6:00 PM on November 3, 2021, will be liable for their entire Conference fee.
