Library Disaster Relief Fund

General Information

The NYLA Disaster Relief Fund provides financial assistance to libraries in New York that have been damaged or destroyed by natural or manmade disasters like flooding, hurricanes, fire, etc. Funds are generally collected in the aftermath of a specific event, and distributed between the affected libraries. Your donation will go toward repairing a library building, replacing destroyed items in the collection, and more.

To report a library that has been damaged and may be in need of support, please send the library name and e-mail address of the library director to NYLA via director@nyla.org
