Inspired perhaps by the dwindling fare on commercial television, Robert Lanxon pitches the following concept to the ALAOIF listserv…

 

I really think the ALA should jump on the Reality TV bandwagon:

 

Bad books, bad books,

Whatcha gonna do,

Whatcha gonna do when they come for you,

Bad books, bad books....

 

We could have cams on the bookmobiles ... as we jump out with our fire  extinguishers to put out book burning bonfires ...  or as we return Harry Potter to the grateful hands of a 4th grader...

I'll sit here patiently and wait for my royalty check.
