Robert E. Barron Cultural Media Award
The Robert E. Barron Cultural Media Award encourages the purchase of humanistic non-book materials to enrich the collection of the Library Media Center beyond the usual purchase of curriculum materials. The award is $500. It is presented at the SLMS Spring Conference.
Deadline: November 15
Qualifications:
- Applicant must be a current member of NYLA/SLMS.
- Use of non-book materials for a humanistic program and/or activity with the school library media specialist during the current (or last school) year that has enriched the School Library Media Center beyond the purchase of curriculum materials.

Instructions: The forms were all created using the "forms" feature of Microsoft Word, and require Microsoft Word 6.0 or higher. Once an application is downloaded, it can be filled out in Word and printed out. Applications should be sent to the address given on the form.
