COMMITTEE CHARGE

Committee members will inform existing and potential members of the significant role the Association plays in furthering the future of libraries and librarians in the State.  The committee will analyze membership and other data to develop strategies for the recruitment and retention of Association members, both personal and institutional.  Through communication with Section and Roundtable membership chairs, who constitute the Membership Assembly, the committee will help and encourage Section and Roundtable membership promotion campaigns.  Chair appointments are for one year from the end of the Annual Conference to the end of the following Annual Conference.  Committee appointments expire at the end of conference of the year indicated.
