Contact Your Elected Officials

Welcome to NYLA's Online Advocacy Center.  From here you can contact your elected officials and other state policymakers on issues of importance to the library community. NYLA has already drafted a letter for you to send out to state policymakers.  All you need to do is type in your name, address and zipcode and our software will identify your state elected officials for you. Now advocating for your library services can be quick, simple and timely, plus there is no cost to you.

Easy to use!

1. Click on the "Contact Your Elected Officials" button below.
Your browser will open a new window.

2. Click on the "Take Action" below any of the topics listed.

3. Enter your zip code and click on the Go! button.
We identify your elected officials for you, based on the information you have provided.

4. Enter your mailing address and click the Go! button.

5. Enter your name and other contact information.

6. Click on Send Message!
Your letter will now be faxed to the appropriate elected officials.  NYLA pays for the fax to be sent.
